Mavis Matsumoto, MD

With over 26 years in practice, board-certified internal medicine physician Mavis N. Matsumoto, MD, is known for her dedication to patient care. She welcomes patients to her private practice, Mavis N Matsumoto, MD, LLC, in Henderson, Nevada.
After completing her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Matsumoto attended medical school. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. 
Dr. Matsumoto went on to complete her internal medicine internship and residency at the David Grant United States Air Force Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California. She’s currently board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and maintains professional affiliations with the American College of Physicians and the Society of Air Force Physicians, among others. 
Treating each patient as a whole, rather than targeting a specific symptom, is important to Dr. Matsumoto, so patients can improve their overall wellness. Her goal is to manage and anticipate every patient’s unique health care needs in an effort to prevent chronic disease and achieve optimal health.
