Located in Boston, Richard Fomo is a media professional who shoots and edits corporate profiles, website promotions, customer testimonials, events and performances, independent movies and documentaries, presentations and conferences. In short, Richard works in all the areas for which video is indispensable. He can work in multiple roles from technician to director, even at the same time. He creates naturalistic or dramatic location lighting; audio is never an afterthought; the goal of editing is not to overpower your viewers, but to engage them emotionally and thoughtfully. Richard is in the business of telling your story.

Richard crafts all the aspects of video production - composition, camera movement, lighting and audio - to make a cohesive and convincing whole that is professional and memorable. But more than this, Richard's work experience straddles the two very different worlds of independent film and corporate video. The task, that I'm given over and over again in the types of projects that I work on, is to capture as authentically as possible the experiences and the thoughts of an employee, a patient, a user of a product, a person seeking training, a person seeking change. This is what I love about my profession.
