The Scar Center has taken the knowledge and technology surrounding intradermal pigment injection and concentrated it to the area of scar blending. This blending procedure is called Micro-invasive Pigmentation or Melanocyte Replacement. The Micro-invasive Pigmentation procedure allows us to introduce the exact color of surrounding melaocytes (skin coloration) into the hypopigmented scar (white scar). The coloration blending is done in layers to give the exact look of the surrounding skin color as there are multiple micro colors within the skin. Micro-invasive Pigmentation can be used to successfully conceal any hypopigmented scar.
