With many years of experience of building all types of engines, we know what works. Whether its for your daily driver,circle track, drag race, street rod, or import we have been there and done that. As a custom engine shop we are able to offer personal attention to all of our shop services. In our tradition of quality work we also pay attention to the quality of parts we use to insure we produce a quality product. All of our machine work and engine building is based upon our customers' personal needs. We are committed in communicating and working with our customers in providing a product that will work best for them. Eric at PPM has been serving the Longmont area for over ten years, and his experience extends much further back. He started back in grade school working for a retired Air Force mechanic instructor. Through many years, life lead him to Colorado where he worked for a couple of Automotive Machine Shops. He started at the bottom, but time would come for him to start putting his ideas to the track. In 2000, he bought a 1979 Toyota Celica and started to race it. He had alot less knowledge in racing than his competors, that year he took Rookie of the Year. The following year he built a new car from the ground up and engine that was indestructible. With many quick times, trophy dashes, and main event wins he went on that year to win the track championship. The following year lead Eric to try a new engine combination and with building many of the competitors' engines, he finished second that year. In 2001, 7 of the top 10 final point standings, Eric had built their engines. From there, he has had many of the engines he built win championships and be very competitive. Many local drag racers have had Eric's hands on their engines. One of which he just learned that an engine he built back in 2003 Finished 2nd in the Pink's All Out in Denver CO in summer of '08. With the knowledge and dedication of Eric's competitiveness, it shows that an engine built by him with over 5 years of racing is still competing with the newer engines packages.
