Kaskaskia Valley Tours

Kaskaskia Valley Tours, family owned and operated by retired Clinton County IL funeral director and Clinton County IL Coroner David Moss, offers an affordable way to see the beauty and venues of our great country (sometimes the world). In addition to great places, group traveling will offer the opportunity to meet new people, possibly evolving into lifetime friendships. Our main focus of the tours is Value. We select lodgings that are clean, modern, convenient and reasonably priced. In addition, restaurants that we select will also be of the best standards offering quality foods and convenience. Our motor coaches will be the most modern available, operated by safe, experienced drivers. Motor coaches will also be equipped with a restroom, air conditioning and large extensive viewing areas. Venues selected will be interesting, educational and right out fun.

All of our tour prices will include the transportation (flights are usually extra), hotels, restaurants for included meals, admission to venues as advertised in the trip itinerary. Also included will be all taxes, tips and gratuities (except for driver and tour manager) and luggage handling. We also arrange for free time and independent meals for those that are not included. We will also provide an experienced qualified tour manager/director who will ensure that your vacation runs smoothly, timely and to assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have while on tour.

We Offer Five Different Types of Tours:

Group Travel Tours – to specific destinations offered by Kaskaskia Valley Tours, open to anyone that wishes to be in a diversified traveling group setting. These will be multi day trips from 2 nights to as many as 14 or more night tours. Arrangements can be made for 2 travelers (double), three to a room (triple), four to a room (quad) and for the single traveler. If you, as a single traveler, desire to save money, we will make attempts to find another signed up single traveler to share the hotel rooms, lowering costs.

Student and Youth Tours: offer to junior high and high school students to various US educational destinations and sights. These tours are chaperoned tours that utilize a one chaperone to five students ratio and are night time supervised by security at all hotels. These tours are for students entering the 6th grade, through seniors. Chaperones are parent volunteers or teachers and must be at least 25 years old. Other examples of youth tours are offered to 4-H clubs, church youth groups, Boy and Girl Scouts and so forth.

IGO Tours-Independent Group Organized Tours are tours organized for a group that has a specific destination, sights and venues in mind. Typically these tour groups are from social groups, work, fraternal organizations, church groups, veteran organizations, families, colleges, banking groups, civic organization, volunteer organizations, garden groups and many more. Information about arranging IGO tour is communicated to Moss who will arrange the transportation, hotels, restaurants and venues. These are not only limited to destinations in the United Sates but can also be to international destinations. The length of the tour is totally up to the group. Group tour must have at least 20 travelers.

Day Trips will be offered to more local destinations that can be reached by motor coach and return in the same day. These day trips will be tailor made to a specific location or event (IE: winery tours) for any group or organization with a minimum of 20 travelers.

Private Tours are offered for those who want to go on a nice vacation or the trip of a life time but don’t want to drive or make arrangements or do not want to travel in a large group and desire very personal attention. These groups will be limited to 8 or less travelers.

Tours for 2016 Include St. Louis Cardinal Spring training, Washington DC Cherry Blossom Festival, Mackinac Island, New York City, Germany for the Oktoberfest and many more. You may want to consider travel insurance.
