At Himawari Yama Dojo we teach the Japanese martial arts of Jodo and Iaido. Founded in 2005 by Thomas Bengston Sensei, Himawari Yama remains the only Dojo to teach and practice these arts in Northern Nevada. Our instructors are licensed, through Musokan, by the All Japan Kendo Federation (Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei) and have over 30 years of martial arts experience.
