From owner of Color Works Construction we're going to give the real side of the story of our consumer Robin G .We understand your not a happy customer and as well we're not very happy we did buss with you for so many reasons .were going to start how everything started .One day we called an attorney looking for legal help because a customer of color works did not wanted to pay, well that attorney did a great job and did help us on every point Clay Gaston which he's highly recommended from us Color works .well it turn out to be her husband .one day mr clay ask me if we could do his new home remodeling and I said yes ..well I meet with both of them and we came to an agreement of everything in the job.mrs robin was very very happy with us at the beginning so much happy that her husband told us that she has not been happy for so many years .well we continue working and she paid us and things were great.well at one point mrs robin started out of the blue moon talking very bad about us and saying ugly things and we continue.our workers were saying that she would talk ugly things and bad words .well we when along all the way and in between we had lots of confidence that she would be happy but never did ..we appointed a project manager to supervise and continue till completely finished.well even my project manager will constantly call everyday saying she would change things and so many ideas that were not specific reviewed.to the pint that she was making deals with the workers from color works ...well it when on till everything got completed till this day 7-9-2015 we still have a service call that will be conducted on the 7-11-2015 for the automatic gates not working properly.we stand behind in our warranty no matter wat .but she hates us so much but we still will do the service . As us color works will no longer do remodeling...for the same reason because sometimes is someone else fault but the contractor still gets the blame for the contract.were not perfect in this life we all make mistakes but we do NOT STEAL !!!we now only conduct painting finishes and that's the best that we do and we will stand behind our work.we can prove it we have lots of recommendations and very happy customers ..prove it for your self ...don't believe everything in the internet there's always 2 sides on every story .WERE NOT PERFECT ONLY GOD! Thank you very much hope you can give us and opportunity if u ever need us.
Color Works does a great job when they send the right crew. We contracted them to paint our living room and kitchen. The estimated time to complete the job was 2 days, however due to humid weather conditions, the paint had difficulty drying in the estimated time. On the third day, a different set of painters showed up to finish the job and unfortunately the quality of work did not match the level of skill that the initial crew displayed on the first 2 days. As a result, the initial crew had to come back and clean up after the sub-par crew, which took an additional 2 days of work. (I'd like to point out that the workmanship of the initial crew was phenomenal. Specifically George and Robin, they are good, trustworthy guys who work very hard to produce a great result.) Now, in all fairness, anyone who had already paid a decent amount of money for a job that took three times as long to complete as originally estimated would undoubtedly be frustrated. However, Color Works took responsibility for the mistakes made and lived up to their warranty. They offered to paint our hallway free of charge, which was in fact completed within a day, as well as patch any spots that we noticed in the living room and kitchen going forward. All in all, I would say that they do good work and are a solid choice but are in need of dedicated supervision. The supervisor is understanding and responsive, however if the quality between crews lacks consistency, the vision of the final product gets lost in translation. This could have been mitigated simply by having one person oversee the job from start to finish. My recommendation is twofold: 1. If you're contracting Color Works, be sure to be very specific about the full scope of the job so that you get an accurate time to completion. 2. Ask that the crew remain the same between days so that everyone fully understands how the job is to be completed and what techniques are best utilized. (ex. sprayers vs rollers)
I had scheduled painters through ANOTHER company, purchased the supplies they required and they never showed up. I called Color Works and they had someone out THAT SAME DAY to quote. I had 2 other companies bid for the job and Color Works was by far the best. The team showed up the following day and worked all week. They painted the interior of our (over 4000 sq. feet) house, which included taking off wallpaper, re-texturing, very tall ceilings and archways, difficult shaped art nooks, scraping off hay textured walls (I have no idea why the previous owner had hay-textured walls in one room), and painting white over very dark colored walls (dark red and olive green, etc.) Our house entry and living area are over 2 stories tall and they took care of it all with ease. They were always communicating with me about how extensive and loud certain things would be. Being a mom, with kids taking naps and running around the house trying to keep my kids from touching the walls, I really appreciated this! They were careful to work so that the fumes were not in the same areas my kids were and even did the loud jobs at the times when my toddler was not napping. I know that may seem like it doesn't have that much to do with their work, but having a crew you can count on and trust makes ALL the difference! We had a great experience with them and really loved the work the beautiful work they did! I would hire them again in a heartbeat and will keep in contact when we need them to do our exterior as well.
I am totally delighted with the paining job that Robin and his crew did. Their edges are really clean, they did 4 coats to make sure that the dark paint underneath didn't show through my new white walls, and I really appreciated working with such a great honest man like Sergio. They were respectful of my house, covered everything with drop-cloths, listened to me about my expectations for the job. If you want quality work I would definitely recommend Color Works!!!!
Great exterior paint job on our home. Sergio was excellent! He was there everyday to make sure the painters knew what we wanted done since we had 3 colors for the house, trim, and roofline. Our expectations were completely exceeded! Quality work and precise painting. His crew led by Robin, did an amazing job and they didn't even have to touch up the paint afterwards. Would recommend Color Works!!!!!!!!!
Color works painting did a great job staining and sealing our backyard decking. I would recommend their services to anyone. Thank you Sergio.
