So I hired Kamal over a year ago to paint the side of my house and he did an awesome job. This year I hired him to repair my shower floor but this turned out to be a HUGE mistake!!. He originally quoted me $1,500.00 to do the job, but he lowered it to $1,400.00 which was fair. While he was doing the work, a problem arose and he told me it would be an extra $250.00 which would now increase the price to $1,650.00, I foolishly agreed. He did the work on a weekend which was great because I didn't have to take off of work. When he finished the job, it looked amazing and I was happy. He asked me to pay the remaining balance 1/2 check and 1/2 cash so he could pay his worker, and I did. I was told not to shower until the following morning because the grout and cement needed to dry. The next morning when I took a shower and the water was sitting in the corner and was not going down. It turns out that the floor was not leveled as his worker told me that he "eyed' it and didn't use a level. Meanwhile, water was going into the basement because the water drain was not supported and when I would step on it, it would move causing the water to seep through and go into the basement. He came back and leveled the shower floor and repaired the leak problem. I had to wait 24 hours to let the cement dry this time, that was on October 26th, 2016, today is November 16th and I'm still waiting for the cement to dry. He told me that he would be in Florida for two weeks and when he would return, he would fix it and to be patient with me. I've emailed him, text, called and not a single response from him so I figured I would "Yelp" the company so that no one else gets screwed over like I have. So now I have to pay another contractor to come and do the job that he messed up completely while my lawyer now fights to get my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!!!!
