Located in El Paso, TX, Cultural Technical Institute is a trade school that realizes the immediate need for low-cost educational programs focusing on working people--people who have been out of an educational setting for a while. We know how important it is to create a diverse environment where all of our students will feel welcomed and are able to get the best schooling possible.

The faculty members at Cultural Technical Institute have all obtained an Associate’s Degree and have completed at least 60% of their college schooling. We are all 100% bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows them to reach a wider range of students. Before hiring, all of our teachers undergo an assessment process conducted by our staff to make sure they acquire all of the tools necessary to teach in a professional and academically stimulating environment.

We offer many programs to help further your education and career. To begin with, we offer GED courses for those who have fallen behind. We have medical billing and coding specialist classes, along with courses for office application technicians. Cultural Technical Institute even has specialized medical assistant classes, as well as nursing assistant classes. We offer truck driving school as well, along with CDL training classes.

Your education is our number one priority, but we are also here to help you upon the completion of your schooling. Career Services are workshops that give detailed listings of qualifications for several jobs and tips on applying for jobs. We give our students valuable advice and help them develop the necessary skills to prepare a good resume and to be successful during interviews. We also offer externships and job placements.

If money is an issue for you, we can help. Cultural Technical Institute offers Institutional Grants. A grant is a gift aid, awarded through us, to help make up the difference between our institution’s costs and what the family can ultimately pay through income, savings and loans. Some of our grants are only offered to students whose families absolutely cannot help finance schooling, while others are awarded to students without regard to their family’s finances.
