Always Shiny Wheels and RV

After retiring from a 25 year career in real estate sales in Southern California, we set out in our motor home to see the United States and Canada. That was ten years ago and we have toured every state except Rhode Island (missed the turn?) and every Canadian Province except Newfoundland (the ferry was sold out).

We toured and hiked through hundreds of State and National Parks, we saw the great museums, we toured the largest cities, we went through factories, breweries, wineries, distilleries and we pretty much ate our way across America.

But, we did miss having a job – at least a part-time job. We were attending the Family Motor Coach Association rally and while perusing the vendors and looking for some aluminum wheel polish, we found our new job. Haltec, who was the distributor for Alcoa’s Aluminum Wheel Polish, needed someone to sell the polish at rallies throughout the United States. We loved our first product and we had a job!

We have carried a variety of products in the ten years that we have had our business but they all had this in common – they were quality products with a good warranty and a manufacturer that would stand behind them. If they didn't, we stopped selling them.

We still set up our booth as a vendor at about ten RV rallies each year even though most of our business is now online. It’s good to see past customers, new customers, new products and new RV’s. So, maybe we’ll see you at our next rally.
