Guitar Lessons by Chris Kenney

Bachelor of Music from Immaculate Heart College. Chris Kenney studied under TED GREENE, JOE PASS and ROBBEN FORD. Toured nationally and internationally with artists Natalie Cole, Eddie Money, Bob Seger, The Pointer Sisters, Cher, Stevie Nicks, Kenny Loggins, England Dan and John Ford Coley, and Don Was. He also worked in TV and movie production and has recorded his own record. Over 25 years teaching experience, including Canoga School of Music, Norms' Rare Guitars and private lessons in my recording studio.

Whether you are a beginner or just looking to improve and expand your musical skills, I will teach you to play with an effective technique to gain the knowledge you need to feel at home with your instrument. I stress singing and playing your instrument together, along with an emphasis on song writing; it will add so much more to your life. I also stress reading music notation and chord chart reading, harmony and theory. Experienced instructor is patient, positive and respectful of each student's musical tastes. I will design the best lesson program for your particular needs and musical interests. You will get immediate answers to your questions in a one-on-one teacher to student private lesson directly in a way that books, videos, computer, or on-line can not.
