Kayhan Civelek, DDS

Kayhan Civelek, DDS, MS, PC is an expert in holistic periodontal care. Since 1999, he has put his expertise and perspective to use at his New York City private practice, Holistic Periodontics, where he treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Civelek got his start at Ohio State University, where he earned his Master of Science in cell biology, along with a certification in periodontics. Later, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University. He went on to teach at the New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Comprehensive Care.
Dr. Civelek believes that body health and oral health are intertwined and that the oral cavity interacts with the whole body. At Holistic Periodontics, he seeks to offer his patients alternatives to traditional dental treatment approaches, particularly with metal dental implants. Examples of a few of the revolutionary treatments he and his staff offer include algae bone replacement and piezoelectric surgery.
