As a result, he has an in-depth understanding of the unique needs of athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to amateur enthusiasts to professional-level participants of all types of sports and activities.

Dr. Kane completed his medical degree at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, followed by his orthopedic residency at Stanford University Medical Center and surgical residencies at St. Mary's Hospital and Tufts New England Medical Center. In addition to his position as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Kane is also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Canada and holds affiliations with the San Diego County Medical Association and the Western Orthopaedic Association.
