Playdale Playgrounds is a family run company based in Haverthwaite in Cumbria. We have been designing and making high quality playground equipment for over thirty five years. Our knowledge of working with timber stems back to 1735 when the Croasdale family began work in the forestry and timber trades. In 1978 we adapted our skills and increased our knowledge in the benefits of play and now run a highly successful playground equipment company that now exports playground equipment all over the world.
We have a vast timber and steel range of playground equipment that incorporates, towers, slides and climbing frames within the designs. Our timber climbing frames come in a variety of different designs and our Junior Range suits older children while our Toddler and Explorer range are perfect for the little ones. Our steel playground equipment is known as our City Range and is often seen in large playgrounds in urban areas. You can plan your playground so that it is either all timber, steel or a mixture of both.
We also have traditional playground equipment such as; slides, swings and roundabouts. All of our equipment is built to BSEN 1176 safety standards and is designed to last a long time. Playdale Playgrounds supplies playgrounds to; schools, public areas, holiday parks and activity centres. Our graphic designers can design artwork that will enable you to add a theme to your playground design whether it be educational or imaginative.
Playdale Playgrounds have designed outdoor classrooms so that children are able to participate in outdoor learning even when it is raining. We have combined outdoor play and technology with our I-play system which is particularly attractive for older children.
