K & K Smog

K & K Smog is the smog inspection station offering smog testing services for vehicles in Venice, Culver City, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, and El Segundo. We perform visual, functional and tailpipe smog testing. Our licensed technicians will attach the smog measuring equipment to your vehicle. Emissions inspection will verify if the emissions equipment is in place in your vehicle.

The emissions are rated for carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen, and other pollutants. The measurements are made available in the BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair). Two-speed idle test, Acceleration Simulation mode, and onboard diagnostics are performed on the vehicle.

Vehicle inspection report is provided for the vehicle with information about whether the vehicle has passed or failed the test. If the vehicle does not pass the smog test, you can have it fixed in the repair station. Most repairs are inexpensive. The vehicle can be tested for pollution after appropriate repairs have been done
