Over the past 30 years, Kimberly has built up a highly versatile writing portfolio.
Having started as a creative copywriter in the mid-1970s, she worked in radio stations where she wrote her own spots, and in ad agencies where she helped develop creative messages and headlines.
Over the next 20 years, she worked all over the media as a TV production assistant and later a commercial producer writing and producing commercials. In the newsrooms, she learned how news stories get disseminated to reporters and what gets the media's attention. She began encouraging small businesses to let her write and submit newsworthy press releases to their local media where to this day, they get excellent response.
Kimberly has written features for dozens of small business and lifestyle magazines, Chamber of Commerce publications and newcomer guides; as well as for industry trade publications in the automotive, technology, medical, and economic development industries.
With over 10 years as a corporate marketing director, she has also written many sales and marketing product brochures, flyers, marketing videos, and sales support literature.
