Great service, quick and responsive communication. They worked on 4 very large (30+ ft) trees, clearing dead wood and adding roof clearance. Cleaned everything up spotlessly. Very courteous as well. Highly recommended.
Can't tell you how much I appreciate this company. I again used their services this year to trim my large pecan tree above my house. While they were trimming the tree I heard a loud crash, and saw a limb had fallen on my deck, breaking a light post and knocking down my string lights. I'm sure it was an accident, but was a little unhappy. Before I could even submit a complaint, I received a phone call from the main office apologizing for the damage and that they would have someone out to take care of the repairs.I was leaving for Europe the following day, and when I returned I found a brand new lamp post installed (they even stained it with matching stain) and they even replaced broken bulbs on my string lights. Accidents happen, and they went above and beyond to make things right, even before I launched a complaint. They will have my business for years to come and I highly recommend them!
Very happy to have found these guys. I have a small lot but with a lot of very large trees that need annual maintenance. Austin Tree Experts have very reasonable prices, online billing, and do great work.
There are only a few characteristics of any service company that matter to me, after years of working with contractors. Number 1 is reliability. Second is good work. Third is safe practice. Fourth is clean up. Price is last. I think I pay a bit more for Austin Tree Experts, but the company is insured and bonded. No lawsuit from an accident on my property. The best feature is it is totally trustworthy. A year ago, we were out of town when a storm knocked down a tree in our yard. I sent Austin Tree Experts an e-mail asking it to send a crew to clean up. It did. No mess for me or our neighbors. Its crews arrive on time, work fast and safely, and they leave a clean work area. I pay on-line. You cannot ask for better service. Last week, it removed three dead pine trees from our yard, the stump grinders came on time, and all is jake. If you want good and reliable tree service in a city full of trees, call this outfit.
In a time when customer service is pretty much extinct, these people really do it right. We asked for a bid to trim all of the trees on our property and remove two (we decided to only move forward with removing one). They did a fantastic job -- our trees look so much healthier -- but there was a bit of miscommunication and the second one got removed anyway. I communicated this and the way they handled it was simply amazing. I expected to have to fight to get it taken care of properly, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the job.I would highly recommend Austin Tree Experts! They are prompt, easy to schedule with, do great work, and are very trustworthy.
These guys are GREAT. Had a somewhat emergency situation with large broken branches dangling in the tree. Called another service and they were booked for 3 weeks (?!) and recommended ATE.I called an explained and they were out the same day to bid and then out following day for limb removal. The workers were polite, courteous and did a great job.Their bid was less than the other company also. Will definitely use them again.
Daniel was extremely attentive and we couldn't have been more pleased with his service. He was prompt to answer all our questions and talked us through all our concerns regarding the tree in question. We also were thrilled that Austin Tree Experts provides a 60-day payment period; this has helped us a lot. We actually got another quote from a tree service company in town and the quote was nearly doubled. We'll recommend your services to others in need of it.
Wanted to thank you for the excellent job that you and your team did on trimming our trees! They look great! Luis did a great job when he came out again to fix the areas that were missed the first time. We are very happy with your team's work and would definitely use you guys again! We also recommended your team to our neighbors to send more business your way!
I've used Austin Tree Experts several times over the past 10 years for trimming, tree planting and treatment of sick trees. They know their stuff and each time they were able to diagnose, recommend and give an estimate on a timely basis. The bill has always matched the estimate given. What distinguishes their service from other similar services:1. They are certified arborists and specifically they know what trees do well in Central Texas. They also know about specific problems that seem to plague trees in our area. Our trees have always benefited from their advice.2. They cleanup afterward. I've seen a lot of services that left leaves and other debris on the yard. When the ATE crew was done with the job, the yard was actually cleaner than before they started- as they cleaned up limbs that had been knocked down by a storm in addition to what was removed by the trimming process..I have worked with contracting and construction companies quite a bit over the years, so I have a pretty reasonable expectation about what to expect.. With any contractor you hire, unless you are the first appointment of the day, it is not unusual for the crew to run late. If you are the afternoon appointment, the crew will be coming from another job- so it's not unusual for them to be running 1-2 hours late. Because the guys doing the trimming often don't speak english, sometimes communication will be a challenge. While the arborists have always been on time and have communicated well, the crew has sometimes run late. However- I have to keep in mind that they are coming from another job and because they do cleanup after trimming, they do sometimes run late- it's better to have a crew who is late because they take the time to do things right and do a thorough cleanup on their jobs. They are a small company, so if you want to have services like tree planting that are seasonal, you should plan ahead and schedule ahead. If you have storm damage, you can expect that all of your neighbors have storm damage, too. Sometimes during the busy time of year, the lead time is 2-3 weeks for an arborist consult. That will be true of all tree services- so, where possible, plan and schedule services like tree planting well in advance.
These guys are on top of their game. I had another vendor diagnose and treat a diseased red oak I had resulting in a year worth of treatment, me doing a lot of unnecessary work, damage to property, and ultimately a dead tree. So, when I had the same issue with another red oak, I tried Austin Tree Experts. They came out, told me what they thought it was, looked at photos of the old tree leaves, cuts from old diseased tree, and said they would send off a sample to A&M Research Center to be sure. By doing this they confirmed their suspicion and were able to treat the red oak successfully. They never damaged any property and were always a pleasure to deal with. They show up when they say they will and charge you what they quoted. Call these guys the first time and you will not be dissapointed.
This is second time we've used Austin Tree Experts at our home in Avery Ranch. They are awesome!Adam is a real professional. He arrived at the appointed time, and is polite and knowledgeable as he gives the estimate. The tree crew is super efficient and skilled. They arrived on time and did a great job trimming trees, and removing other trees. They cleaned up the yard and then did a walk around with me to be sure I was satisfied. Their bill has always been as estimated! I'll definitely use them again.
This was the second time we have used this company and the results have been fantastic! We wanted quality not the cheapest. It was a great decision. Our trees have thrived and grown at an incredible rate. They are insured and use proper safety equipment. They have my higher recommendation!
Daniel and his team are wonderful! They fit me in their schedule within a week and trimmed a pecan tree in my backyard. The crew did an excellent job. I plan on hiring them in the fall to plant additional trees in my backyard. I would highly recommend them for any tree work you require.
Pat was extremely helpful and knowledgable, and he was able to assess our tree problem right away. When it was determined he couldn't do anything to help our trees (pesky squirrels chewing our elms to pieces!) he ended up discounting the fee down to $50.00. I highly recommend this company.
