Baby Swim Float Swim is an Elite Swim Program for kids that teaches swimming and survival floating. When combined together we call this life saving sequence swim, float, swim. Survival swimming is the ability to float and breathe, regardless of the water's depth, for an indefinite period of time. Conventional swim programs are more concerned with your child being comfortable in the water thus taking years to produce a swimmer. Ms. Kris has experienced a drowning first hand when her niece Jill age 2.5 was found at the bottom of the deep end in a back yard swimming pool. Because of Jill, she is dedicated to the mission of teaching your children the survival float for non-walkers (babies) and the swim float swim sequence to your walker. Ms. Kris will not let your child leave the program until she is completely satisfied that they will be able to handle themselves in an aquatic emergency.Once your child has completed the program Ms. Kris highly recommends that you enroll them in weekly maintenance lessons to keep their skills up.
Kris Battista is the owner of Baby Swim Float Swim in Temecula and a proud member of the Infant Aquatics Survival (IAS) team. Kris is thrilled to expand this amazing program to the Temecula area and feels the need for life saving skills is a must for every family with children around water!
The leading cause of childhood non-auto accidental death in California is Drowning. The top two drowning states are Texas and California. Last year in Orange County alone there were 26 drownings in a 6-month period. Recently there have been three more incidents – one each in Murrieta, Temecula and Moreno Valley – that have left two children dead and a third critically injured over the past month (6/29/13) A quote from Riverside County Fire Chief John R. Hawkings. "I beg all parents to keep a constant vigil of their infants and children." Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 5 and under. In Riverside County we have lost 80 children since 2005. Nothing has changed in 30 years, we are still losing our kids.

Kris is great! Last year, Makenzie learned how to float when dropped in the water when she was 14 months old! Can't wait to see what she can do this year.

My son completed the 8 day program and he's now a happy & confident little swimmer! He adores Ms. Kris and was so sad when his lessons were over. I highly recommend this program and may even go back for more advanced level lessons.

Just received a text from one of my swim parents (Melissa). She asked me to post this for her. Scarlet took your program at 3.5. As soon as she turned 5 she went to try out for the TMEC Tritons. She never swam 25 yards before and she hadn't swam since August. She was able to swim with her face in the water about 1/2 way and then she turned herself over to her back and swam the other half that way. She loves the backstroke. Your Awesome! I added that part lol

I brought my daughter to Kris last spring, she was 2 (almost 3) and had had no swimming lessons previously. This was hands down the best thing we have ever done for her. She gained confidence in the water and learned her limits and abilities. Our 17 month old daughter Kalyse went through the 6 week swim float swim course. We couldn't be more pleased with the results! Kris is so patient, committed and passionate about her work! Having a pool in our back yard we feel much more secure with Kalyse having as much water safety knowledge as possible! Highly recommend!!

Before lessons with Kris, my 3 year old hated water in his face and even bath time was challenging. After a couple of days with Kris he was swimming and now he is able to float on his back as well. He loves being in the water and loves to swim at pools now. He REALLY loved Kris. She is great with kids!

Kris did an amazing job teaching my little girl to float! My daughter was 7 months at the time and at the end of the program I felt confident that she would be able to survive if she were to have an accident in a pool. We will be back for refresher courses and to continue developing my daughter's swim skills.

Could NOT be happier! What seemed like a miracle to me, was really just a simple, tried and true method that Miss Kris" so skillfully teaches. My three year old daughter was clueless in the water and quite stubborn and angry about having to learn. But with Kris' balance of strong leadership (she doesn't let kids manipulate her with their tantrums), and her kind and trustworthy nature, my Gracey caught on FAST. Kris pushed her past what Gracey or I even thought she could handle, and what happened was well... NATURAL. Gracey learned how to swim because she had to. And it wasn't long before she was learning to swim because she wanted to. She worked hard and conquered fears, and in the end her confidence and enjoyment in the water was quite literally... "life saving".

Kris' program came highly recommended. My child hated water on her face and was addicted to her floaty. How could she get passed this fear of water in just 8 days? Well, Kris has been given quite a gift. By day 4 my child was swimming like a fish and loving it. She did scream a bit the first few lessons but Kris' loving yet no non-sense approach turned my daughter into a "mermaid". I highly recommend her!! Thanks Kris for everything:)

Me & my husband were blown away at how fast our 2 year old (3 in Sept) daughter was swimming! Miss Kris is so amazing. Our daughter begged me to take her to lessons. We have a pool in our backyard, so I was really hoping to get her swimming this summer and now she is! Worth the money & time. We are forever grateful!! My 3 1/2 year old son just finished this program and Ms. Kris is awesome. He had never had a lesson before and is now a little fish. So impressed with this program.

After 8 days of kicking and screaming because our daughter didn't like swimming lessons, day 9 and 10 were a success!! Miss Kris was so very patient with our daughter and earned her trust over time, now our daughter wants to go to swimming lessons!! Would highly recommend Kris to everyone, great program!!
