Marriage licenses can be obtained from the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Marriage License Division in Sarasota or other pertaining counties. The license is good for 60 days. There's no waiting period for non-residents of Florida or any blood tests. Florida residents can choose between a three day waiting period or attending a four-hour class. Both bride and groom must go to the Court House No credit cards or personal checks accepted by Circuit Court Identification with a photograph (i.e. driver's license or passport) required Social Security card is required. Date any previous marriages ended is required. Bring the license to the ceremony so the officiant can sign it. We'll mail your license back to the Court House so your marriage can be registered with the State of Florida. If you can't arrive in time to get your license before your ceremony, then use Florida Marriage License Express and get your license in the mail. Call for details.
