Our garage door suffered from excessive wear and an unfortunate (albeit minor) collision with one of our cars. Rick answered my telephone call after 2 rings, and came to our house the next day. We had just sold our home in Peoria, AZ and in the midst of packing and moving everything out to be taken out of state. Wouldn't you know--two days before closing the old garage door opener starts giving us fits! We desperately called around to find a company that could come quickly and repair the problem before we turned over the house. Affordable Garage Door came the very next day and replaced the opener quickly. The technician was friendly and very helpful--gave us options to replace the mother board only (which wouldn't connect to the mounted openers on the outside and inside of the house or replacing completely and leaving us with an intact system. That is what we did and we could leave our house to the buyers in good conscious. Thanks for bailing us out in a stressful period!

I called earlier in the week, spoke to the owner Rick, regarding my sensors getting confused with the sun. He suggested to try raising them myself first to see if it would resolve the issue without them coming out (admirable). Unfortunately, raising the sensors did not make a difference and I decided to call back today to ask for a call out. Rick answered my call and said we can have someone there within 2 hours, no same day fee, no emergency fee, nothing. I said great! As I was expecting to have to make an appointment for a few days later in the week. Less than 10 minutes later, I received a phone call from Tim, who let me know that he is on his way and should be there within 30 minutes. Tim arrived in ample time, and immediately replaced the sensors, while also swapping which side was transmit and which side was receive. The receive side was originally getting the sunlight, so that was the root of my problem. Tim also thoroughly examined my garage door, including tightening some screws and also testing the door multiple times to make it as quiet and efficient as possible. My garage door is now much less pressurized when going down and up. He also (at a cost), replaced the bearings on my door, as they're probably at least 15 years old (original when home built in 2001). Very nice guy, wonderful experience, and best of all, INCREDIBLE turnaround time. Garage door problems? These are the guys to call. Thanks Rick and Tim!

My spring broke at 11pm on Wednesday night - of course with my vehicle in it. I called at 6:45am the next day because it said open 24/7 and got voicemail. I left a message and figured I'd hear from them with in a couple hours. I called and spoke to another company who in the mean time bad mouthed this company when I told him I was waiting to hear back from them. To me that wasn't professional for them to do that and made them look bad in my opinion. While I was wrapping up my call with them saying I would call if I didn't hear back from affordable, rick called. Rick had me on the schedule that same day from 9-11 and gave a quote which was super reasonable to replace both springs for just $141. Robert and Orlando showed up at 10am and were in and out within 45 minutes. They were both very nice, addressed all my questions and assured me of my concerns. Despite what this other company said I am happy I didn't listen to him and went with affordable. Springs look like they are good quality and larger than the ones that were on there to support the door I have. Thank you affordable for your professional quick response to free my car from my garage so I could get to work! I will definitely keep your number for future garage needs and recommend you to others.

Jake came over our house to fix our old garage motor. He was very professional and polite and came the very next day to not only fix the motor but also quickly installed another motor for our other garage door and installed an outside remote. Amazing service! Replaced our broken springs and rollers. Tightened our chain. Even put in a keypad for us (by our request). All for MUCH less than we would have paid for just springs elsewhere. Marcos was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and HONEST. I wouldn't hesitate to send all of my friends and family their way. In fact, I would recommend they do so if repairs are needed. This is the ONLY place we will ever call for our garage doors. Thank you!!

After my garage door came off the track on a Saturday afternoon, I needed to have it fixed right away. I called a few other companies that couldn't come out until Monday. The last call I made was to Affordable Garage Door, and they were more than willing to help, they couldn't make it on Saturday, but setup an appointment on Sunday morning. The tech came within the stated time. He had the door fixed within an hour, at a very reasonable price. I will definitely call them again if I have anymore garage door issues.

This company is amazing. They just saved me over $ 700. Let me tell a short story. I am a new first time homeowner with very little experience in home maintenance. Last week, my garage door wasn't opening. So I called a big company that had a ""coupon"" for a $ 90 service check. The technician came out, said I needed new everything, quoted me over $ 1000 to repair, and said he could try to cut the price down to $ 700. I wanted to do some research, so I paid him his $ 90 service charge and went online. Next I called the Affordable Garage Door & Repair company. Rick answered the phone immediately and set an appointment that worked with my schedule, on the weekend. Kenneth just left my house, after charging $ 0. He showed me where the other company completely, flat out, lied to me about my motor setting. He explained every part of my garage door, springs, motor, and drums, and why nothing needed replacing. And he even at no charge, lubed the spring - which the other company didn't even do! Even when I tried to show my appreciation by giving him a tip, he waived it away as unnecessary! Truly, this is a fantastic company, I will definitely bring all my garage door issues to them for the next 20 years, and I will tell everyone I know about how they were honest, trustworthy, and saved me a ton of money.

They gave me a 2 hour window and missed it. BUT he did call and tell me and apologize so to me no harm no foul. The guy got down to business. I wanted a tune up and lube. He told me he could lube everything but if I wanted to squealing to really stop, upgrade the rollers. I asked how much (in fear). After taxed $86 (total). The Tune up alone was going to be $50, so to me it sounded like a great deal! Took him about 20 minutes. Right as he is finishing he asks me to come out. He says "have you ever had trouble closing this door because your safety eye is out." I think, Oh here we go. This is where he hits me with a ton of made up work and my bill will double. Instead he looks around and pulls a few wires. He finds a horrible splice job the previous person did. There was exposed copper wire. He quickly spliced it CORRECTLY and covered it with electrical tape, no charge. He told me he thinks I have close to another 5 years on my springs. But just in case he gave me the cost upfront so I know what to expect. Two springs would be 130 plus tax. I found many companies online where that was the price for one and that didn't include labor. These guys are a no nonsense, small operation. I would deal with them anytime. You know what you are getting, no hard sales, no B.S. Good enough for me!

When our garage door torsion spring broke over the weekend, we knew we needed to find a good garage door repair company to help us fix it, but dreaded the potential cost. We quickly found these guys on Google, and were immediately attracted by their low advertised prices, so we knew how much we'd be spending (and their prices were far lower than we'd anticipated). I called at 8am on Monday morning, and their technician, Tim, was at my house in 45 minutes (15 minutes early for our appointment window). I was very impressed! Tim is a nice guy, who walked me through exactly what our garage door needed. The bearings on the end of our door's torsion bar also needed to be replaced, and Tim showed me the evidence of how worn they were, which I appreciated. I had him replace the bearings as well, and when all was said and done, he completed the job in under an hour. I highly recommend this company, and I will be calling on them for all of our future garage door needs. Tim also let me know that their B&M location carries parts, so if you want to DIY anything, they can help as well!

Excellent service. Called Sunday night expecting to leave a message and was greated by a real person who scheduled an appointment for the next day at 2pm with a 2hr window. Marcus arrived at 3 and was done at 4 with the garage back and running. Replaced the torsion spring which sheered and tuned everything. It was nice that there was no upselling but simple recommendations to replace the rollers on the door as they were worn out which he said could be done anytime. In all I would refer them to anyone needing excellent service and fair prices.

From time we called about our garage door that was not working this morning including the rapid response we received by the service technician that arrived at our house within 2 hours after we called. He found the problem right away, which was a broken spring and related loose cables. He had all part needed in hos truck. Replaced the torsion spring with a new one with a lifetime warranty, adjusted the cables also included lubrication and tune up of the tracks etc. He noticed that there was friction between a couple of panels of our (old) garage door creating drag. Suggested adding a support strut above that specific area across the width of the garage door would eliminate that problem. I asked him to install that and he tightened up all the all the bolt nuts across the entire door. All was done within one hour. The cost for all was very affordable. For customer service, timeliness, professionalism, communicating with customers about the problem, to stating the costs prior to customer giving the OK to proceed...Is in my experience nothing less than excellent.

I called them on a Sunday morning and they scheduled me for 2:00pm and then called back to see if ok to come early. Great for me rather than wait. I thought maybe the door would have to be replaced due to the damage but the repairman had a better idea and fixed it within 30 minutes for $50.00. The door actually operates better than it ever did. What more can I say, they were prompt, courteous, honest, knowledgeable and affordable. I'll never call anybody else for garage door issues.

I hired these guys to replace our broken garage door springs, based solely on price and Yelp reviews, and wow am I glad I did! Their price is the best I found, and it's simply amazing to watch them work. I went from a non-functioning door, to new springs with no issues, in less than 15 minutes!!! When I later called with a question, they scheduled a same day visit at no charge to me, to be sure I was 100% satisfied with their work... and I am. My Garage door was making lot of noise I called XYZ company from Angies list and they gave me a quote of 380$ as they mentioned the springs and steel rollers are bad. I thought to get second opinion as my garage door was fine except it was making lot of noise. I called Affordable garage and they promptly visited on scheduled time. They found the garage door to be completely fine and completed annual tuneup which costed me less than 50 bucks. From now onwards I will always call them for my Garage door tuneups or repair.
