Joyce Perlman and Randy Lutge are partners in wedding, portrait, commercial and fine art photography. Their style blends documentary photography with contemporary portraiture and formals; capturing real life, romance and pleasure. They are based in San Francisco and the village of Mendocino on California’s North Coast.

Randy has been a professional photographer for years. His photographic career began when he studied photography at Gunn High school in Palo Alto. He studied ethnographic imaging as an undergraduate in anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley, and brings this studied perspective to his work. His comfortable and unobtrusive manner puts subjects at ease. Randy’s work has shown at the Vorpal Gallery in San Francisco, and has been featured in Photo District News (PDN), San Francisco Magazine, the SF Chronicle and the San Jose Mercury News.

Joyce had been educating the community in the aesthetic and technical aspects of photography, as a past member of the board of directors at The Photographer’s Gallery of Palo Alto. She is also a well known professional resource to the creative community for high-quality design and photography. Joyce studied fine art and photography at Syracuse University in New York, London, England and Florence, Italy.
