Palace of Rugs has been in this business in the United States since 1992. In the summer of 1999, Palace of Rugs opened in Anchorage as the primary source of handmade rugs for Alaskans. Since then, Palace of Rugs has been the premier rug destination for both sales and service.
With three generations of rug experience, Seya was born in Tehran, Iran and opened stores in Germany, Los Angeles (CA), Phoenix (AZ), and now Anchorage.
His wife Chereyl also comes from a family with four generations of rug culture. Her family's business started with her great grandfather in Chicago (IL) coming from Zahale, Lebanon.
