These people are shady to say the least!
I went to this business (Dekalb tires in Tucker) on a recommendation from a co worker. Granted, I leave in Jonesboro and work at Ft McPherson in Atlanta. This is the worst place ever to do business. I went a total of 5 FIVE TIMES, and...Dekalb Tire - Tucker no way not again!
I have tried to use Dekalb tire in Tucker many times over the last 4 years... I have finally decided not to go back there... I have had many bad experiences there. They have always made things right but who wants to make two trips every...Excellent Tire Company
My family has been using Dekalb Tire for over 20 years. We have always found them to be honest in both their service and their pricing. We would not hesistate to recommend them to anyone.Good neighbourhood car care center
We would definitely recommend this car care center to everyone. They seem to be very honest in their work, and they always try to explain to you in detail of your car condition and your options. They will try their very best to accomodate you, and also give you a good & fair price. Also provide free shuttle service to pick you up or drop you off at your home or office. They have been around for quite a while. Have other locations too all around Atlanta.Watch Out
Dekalb Tires - Sandy Springs: After spending almost $1,100 for two front tires on my Corvette, the tires were so worn after 8,800 that the metal was showing through on the inside. I took the car in early Saturday morning. After hearing nothing all day I called and was told my car was ready. When I arrived at the store, I found out they had done nothing and planned to do nothing. I found my original alignment specifications and compared that to another alignment I had recently done. The specs had not changed much, but it did show they had put a lot of negative camber on the tires (causing the inside to wear prematurely) and the caster setting was not even within their own allowable specs.Dekalb Tire - Tucker no way not again!
I have tried to use Dekalb tire in Tucker many times over the last 4 years... I have finally decided not to go back there... I have had many bad experiences there. They have always made things right but who wants to make two trips every time for an oil change and tire rotation. I had two hub caps broken while being forced of with a screwdriver or tool of some sort. They wouldn't replace them until they talked to the tech and verified that I was telling the truth. I have had lost lug nuts replaced with lugnuts that didn't match the others and were twice as long. Most recently I was told by them that I need a new oil pan and that my oil plug was cross threaded. Amazingly enough - they are the ones who changed my oil the last time.. I'm through with them.Caveat Emptor!!!!!!
On March 17, 2007, I bought 4 new private brand (Warrior) tires from DeKalb Tire. These tires are made by Michelin. I discussed a road hazard warranty with the man behind the counter and indicated that I wanted to make sure that I had this warranty.Horrible mechanics!
These mechanics know nothing about cars. They were going to charge me $1073 for a part my car did not need. All it needed was an oil change and the serpentine belt changed. I came out of another repair shop for $150. Do not trust a tire shop to actually work on your car.SLOW AND UNPROFESSIONAL
I went in for a set of tires they had to get sent i to the store. The first time they had sold 2 of them pushing my tires back 1 week. They were working on my car for 1.5 hours then came to tell me I needed front brakes. It took them another 1.5 hours to do the front brakes. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU HAVE A DAY TO WASTEDekalb Tire Tucker - Never again!
