I believe a great haircut or color begins with client's unique features and needs.

When I cut and style hair, I take into account the shape (oval, pear, round... ) of the client's face. I also consider the hair type as I create the hair design. I cut curly hair dry so I can better work with shaping. Fine hair may require a soft body perm or specific color to make it look fuller, while coarse or frizzy hair can be made softer through a Keratin smoothing treatment.

A hair cut should enhance the clients best features! For hair color I use skin tone and eye color as the base so as to bring out the client's natural beauty, highlighting the positive to compensate for areas the client wants the eye to move away from. For example if a client has a smaller face they may want to avoid dark hair colors that enclose and explore lighter colors open and enlarge the face.

When I work with a client I take time to consider their needs and personal style. When the stylist and the client work together, this lead to a better cut.
