History
Established in 1990.
Michael P's Cleaners opened in 1990 and Oceanside Cleaners joined the lineup in 1993. In 2001, Oceanside's new production facility opened. In 2006, the owners, Michael and Amy Harris, merged Oceanside and Michael P's under the Oceanside brand. Merging the two businesses provided a stronger vehicle for giving back to their community.

Business Owner
Michael is a Jacksonville native and a resident of Ponte Vedra Beach since 2003. He graduated from Wolfson High School ('81) and the University of North Florida ('87) with a BA in Transportation & Logistics. After a few years of working in corporate America, he and his wife Amy, fulfilled his life long dream of owning a business. Southside Cleaners, Inc was incorporated in March 1990 and purchased a 1,000 sq ft existing dry cleaning plant on Southside Blvd. The staff consisted of Michael and one other employee. Today, the company has over 60 employees.
