This commitment to excellence has been recognized by his peers with continued nomination to Americas Top Dentists since 2005 – 2015.
It is the same commitment to excellence that led to achieving Board Certification by the American Board of Orthodontics in 1997. Only 20-25% of Orthodontists achieve this recognition, and Dr. McDowell is one of the only Orthodontists in Pinellas County to have done so!

Most recently, our practice was further recognized for its experience and commitment to excellence by the esteemed invitation to become a member of The Schulman Group. This is a nationally recognized association of prominent orthodontic practices who compose the top 1% of all Orthodontic practices in North America. Limited to only the top 100 orthodontic practices in the United States and Canada, it is an honor to belong to this invitation only group!
