Ladies Please Stay Away!!

I had been a customer since 2000. I had take my vehicle in for a routine oil change and was told my gasket was leaking and the repair would be $300. I declined the repair since I had no evidence of this "leak" so I went to the dealership and had no leak (surprise). They have gone downhill and are crooks! I beliveve they tagret women so please ladies STAY AWAY!!

Horrible service

on June 25, 2009 I took my car there for an oil change and got it back with no oil, none f the fluids recappoed, a rag under the hood and the oil stick sticking out abut 10 inches. WhenI called them to have it twoed back to them they refused to pay for it. I have use themon two cars for 2 years and have become increasingly wary of how dishonest they are about doing unnecessary repairs and lying to me and the quality of their work is not good but this one is the worst and I have photos. I took my car to P and A Smith for repairs of the damages from this tragic oil change - they are fantastic!!!!! one more thing, Atlantic Tire kept calling me cause they wanted their rag back....no joke. do not ever use this place!!!!!!

Excellent Service

I am new to the Cary Community. My vehicle was due for some regular maintence and I had no idea where to go. I asked around and many people referred me to Atlantic Tire and Service. So I gave it a shot. I was blown away by their wonderful customer service the minute I walked in the front door. I scheduled a basic oil change. I soon discovered that it wasen't just a basic oil change. They topped off all of my fluids, made sure my tires were properly inflated, vaccumed my car out, and cleaned my front windsheild, all of this for free!!! They are so great!!! Thanks Atlantic Tire! You have my business for life.

Great service

A few years ago I had an immediate need for new tires, I drove around to all the local stores, and no one was able to fit me into their schedule. I tried atlantic tire as a last resort, not only could they fit me in to their schedule they were able to give me a good price on tires. I've been having standard maintenance done with them ever since. They are always able to fit me into their schedule even when I don't make an appointment, they always treat my car well(I don't find oily fingerprints on my doors, interior), and they always seem to get me out quickly. This is one of the best auto places in the triangle in my opinion

Overpriced & Declining Service Quality

I felt ripped off. I had been taking my cars there since 2000. I requested a low cost solution for my high milage SUV. The part needing replacement sells retail for under $125 yet they quoted me $360. When I called them on it the service rep stated the part source quoted them the top of the line unit. This was grossly wrong because even the top of the line unit retails for under $275. Once they replaced the part it still didn't work correctly so I had to go back to get it replaced. Then to top it off, at checkout they still tried to charge me for the top of the line part. In the process of getting that squared away I observed that they have extensive levels of pricing and discounts in their billing system. Be wary!

I thought they were great!

These guys came to my job, picked up my car for free, then gave me 10% off of the parts and labor I purchased. My car is running better than ever, and I was extremely happy with the service I received.

I was impressed

I was really impressed with their knowledge of tires. I had called around to several local tire places, but even though these guys weren't the cheapest, they knew the most about what they were selling. I got my new tires put on yesterday, and my car now drives like a brand new car....and they even had my car professionally cleaned for me when I came to pick it up. I'll definitely be back.

Best Automotive Care in the Area!

I just wanted to say that I think that Atlantic tire the the best! Especially the service manager, Pete. Everytime I go in to have work done on my Honda, Pete is such a geniune, mild manered guy. I actually followed him from another place he was working at to Atlantic because of the quality and sincerity of care he provides. He always gives me the truth about my car and tells me what really needs to be done. I dont ever feel like I am being taken advantage of. Great job Atlantic I would trust you with any of our family's vehicles. Thank you for your genuine availablity to always help my family!

Awsome Place

I went to the cary store to get my car serviced bc my car was pulling. I went in the morning to drop my car off and leave it there. They called me back within the hour and told me it was an alignment problem and that it was out of spec. So I went ahead and let them fix it. When I came to pick up my car up, the Technician named Simon was cleaning my car, another good thing about this place. I asked him did he work on my car and he told me yes. He was very helpful as to what was wrong and told me it was all fixed, and that he appreciated my bussiness. At that point I felt really good about them already. When I drove my car back home the pull was not there anymore. Awsome job Simon! Thanks A lot!!

Atlantic Tire is the best!

I've been taking my car to Atlantic Tire in Cary for almost 7 yrs now for all my mechanical needs (major work and preventive care). I have NEVER had any problems with them whether we're talking about work done on my car or with their customer service. They have always gone out of their way to make my experience enjoyable, and I will continue to take my vehicle there and recommend them to my friends, co-workers, and strangers. Thank you Atlantic Tire and I look forward to being a VERY HAPPY customer in the future.

Wonderful service!

The service and accommodating service at this establishment was top of the line. I would recommend this them to anyone who is in need of auto repair or tire purchase. I was given friendly, knowledgeable service by a well trained staff and was treated with honesty and respect. I will continue to patronize them and will continue to recommend them as well.

Good service and reasonable prices

I'm not sure about "cmc32h2o" with "Far from impressed" and his problems, but I personally have had very good service from Atlantic. With any car and any kind of service, problems can occur over the years, but the few times I've had a problem they've always been very quick to resolve the issue and are very pleasant to deal with. I've been buying tires and having tire-related service done there since 1999 I continue to give them all of my business. If I had to come up with a complaint, it's that you may have to wait a while even with an appointment because they are that busy. If you can, leave your car there for the day.

The owner is very proud of his store, his employees and his equipment. He has the latest equipment that can handle the large wheels and low profile tires that my cars have that many places will not touch. Stay late one night and see how they scrub down the shop floor. It's a clean, pleasant place.

Best and Honest place to go for tires

I have been dealing with Anthony for over 10 years and have never had an issue with their level of service and dedication to the customer.

I decided a while back to upgrade my wheels and tires on my 1999 BMW 740. After looking at many reviews I decided on the Continental DWS and looked first at Tirerack for best pricing. Noting that Atlantic Tire was a highly recommended installer by Tirerack I decided to give Anthony a call about getting tires. He asked me how much they wanted including shipping then he said if he could come within $5.00 of their price would I be interested in buying from him. N0 problem!!

I told him that the man who was going to buy my old wheels and tires wasn't a guarantee but was supposed to be at my house that evening. Anthony said don't worry I'll have the tires today and if it doesn't work out I'll send them back. Nice!!! Well the man called around noon and wanted to come and pick up the old tires so I called Anthony and asked if he coud fit me in today if I left the car. No problem!!! Nice !!!

Dropped the car off about 2:30 and they gave me a ride home. Got a call around 4:30 to say they are about ready to finalize the install and could they come and get me. No problem!!

Got there as they were just starting the balance and to my amazement one tire didn't even need any weight since they mounted it spot on. Anthony was not happy with the fourth tire because of too much weight. He asked if I could come back the next day and he would have a new tire for me. No problem. He temporarily balanced the suspect tire so I could be on the road.

This is real dedication!!! Other places might have said the puitting over 4 ounces of weight on high performace wheels and tires is OK but not Anthony because it did not meet his expectations.

He did not try and sell me anything else or push a new alignment because he knew everything was OK. He also know his customers.

I have heard a story about a woman upset because Atlantic "suggested" that she get her tires replaced becasue they were bald. This lady got indignant trying to say that all she wanted was an oil change and they were pressuring her into buying tires. Atlantic was concerned about her safety and not her money (they got plenty of that). I hope I don't meet her on a slick rainy road. New oil change and bald tires....Scary.

If you want an honest job done with exceptional dedication go to Atlantic.

Awesome service and repair!!

I have taken my automobiles to Atlantic Tire and Service for years and have always been impressed with their honesty and service. Anthony and his staff are highly professional and knowledgeable about both of my vehicles. This is a great place to buy tires, get your oil changed, or perform any type of repair you need!!

Very Accurate, Very Thorough Repair Work!

I had a pretty horrific truck accident, one day on my way to work at IBM. After sustaining a head injury, people often don't "treat me normally". Everone at the Atlantic Tire & Service facilty was very kind, knowkledgeble, and completed what it was to complete my order -- on the first time!

Great Service & Friendly Staff

I recently brought my car in for an oil change. The people behind the counter were just as friendly as they could be, and they seemed to genuinely care about my business. They also got me in and out quickly, which is key for a busy mom on the go :)

Do Not Trust - deceitful

3 of the 4 times I went here, they screwed me in some fashion. I began taking my car here because my friend's father recommended them. He said the owner is "a good Christian guy", so I figured I could trust them. I was desperate for new tires - $700 for 4 tires and an alignment. When I paid, they gave me a sheet with the alignment numbers, some were green some were red. At the time I didn't understand what they meant, so I just paid thinking they had helped me out and left. Months later, after another alignment, I realized the red numbers on the paper they had handed me after the first alignment meant the tires weren't within specification... so screw #1 - I paid for an alignment they didn't perform correctly. Screw #2 was when I asked for a full synthetic oil change they charged me for a full synthetic, but the sticker was marked partial synthetic... at the time I wrote this one off as a simple mistake with the sticker.... But then came screw #3. I asked for my tires to be rotated they charged me for a rotation, but didn't rotate them... I knew this because I have distinct marks on some of my tires, all of which were in the same place that they had been when I brought the car in. This time I could prove they had blatantly lied so I went back in and asked for my money back and expressed my discontent with the owner. They credited me the money with really no explanation and a pretty pathetic apology. Every time I drive by I give the business a big middle finger. DON'T GO HERE.
