Avoid Like the Plague
Buying a pet from this store was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. DO NOT consider buying an animal here. If you expect the owner to be customer-focused and fair, you will be extremely disappointed.ANIMAL CRUELTY
i hate arts animals it should go out of business they treat their animals horrible I HATE ARTS ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its really animal cruelty most of the animals cages you couldn't put one foot in when...wondering
hello\rHope S.
Be careful when you purchase rabbit supplies from Art's Animals. I was told the pellets with the seeds and nuts were good for rabbits when nuts and seeds are bad for a rabbits' digestive system. Also, I was told the best rabbit litter...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I bought a cage for hermit crabs and the night before they died. I went to return everything, and the owner would not put the money back on my card. After I spend the money for this store, I WILL NEVER GO BACK there for POOR customer...Arts Animals

I don't know what you people are talking about. I'm a vet tech and I've never seen one "sick" looking animal there. I've been going here since a little kid. I still go a few times a month for food and supplies. I bring my kids there now...Open your Eyes
First of all I dont know what store all of you are going into. Art's is very clean and they care for the animals very well. I have purchased 2 kittens and a puupy from them recently and they are in perfect health and very well cared...U should be informed..
Art's Animals is inhumane. The only reason I would tell someone to buy an animal from there is to save it. Otherwise I wouldn't give them a penny. For years now they almost ALWAYS have kittens that were taken away from their mother too...Animals Deserve Life Long Care
I am writing on behalf of all the animals "For Sale" in pet stores. The all come from "breeding mills" similar to puppy mills. The conditions are horrific, the only thing of concern with all parties involved is the money from the sale of...Great selection of pets
Art's Aniamls has a nice selection of pets, ranging from kittens to fish to turtles to pets and a range of other animals. They take great care of the pets. I especially like their selection of kittens. I have bought two kittens through Arts, and so did my sister. All three of the cats have been healthy, even-tempered, and we had no probelsm with sickness of any kind. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. If you're in the market for a pet, Art's should definitely be on you list of places to look. They also have a good selection of pet supplies, toys, food, and other pet care items.Nice store, friendly and courteous staff...but need more phone lines.
I bought my rabbit Snowflake at Art's the Friday after Easter 2007. He was healthy, out-going and very responsive to people. He is not my first bunny, but he is the absolute best behaved and most intelligent and communicative rabbit that I have owned.Socks
I bought my daughters cat, socks, at arts animals just a few years ago and the service was great as well as the prices. the staff let you hold and pet whichever cat you wanted too.all the animals looked very healthy too.Great Fish Store
Art's Animals and Supplies is located in MacDade Plaza, Holmes, PA. I have bought various types of fish from Art's and have been very satisfied with the price and friendly service. I also have purchased other supplies for my fish tank. I would recommend Arts to anyone.there rood
I bought my bird at arts animals just a few years ago and the service was very very bad! as well as the prices.they killed my bird! the staff is very rood.all the animals looked very sickly too!dont bring your animals there!Art's Animals & Supplies should be closed to save the animals
Art's Animals is a front for Puppy Mills. The paperwork you are given is not accurate. Try and find the breeder the paper work lists. They sell puppies that are sick. They don't even know the true health of their pets. They lie and do not care about the well-being of the animals they sell. It's a business right Art? Who cares about what you sell. You're only in it for the money right?Needs improvement
The kittens in there look so thin, dirty, and unhealthy! I wanted to take them all home. The fish tanks all looked dirty too. Other then that the staff seems nice and the other animal cages seemed clean. But the poor kitties just longed for some attention!Art's Animals & Supplies Needs to be Inspected!!!
The puppies in the front of the store need to be removed from Art's care ASAP! They are in desperate need of a vet's care. Two of four dogs were sleeping in their own urine; one dog was eating another dog’s feces while employees looked on. The cages are dirty, the dogs are thin, and one dog has an obvious skin disorder. They are not being walked and are getting too big/old to be considered puppies anymore. I was appalled by the conditions in this store! Who can we contact to help these poor puppies?!Animals Deserve Life Long Care
I am writing on behalf of all the animals For Sale in pet stores. The all come from breeding mills similar to puppy mills. The conditions are horrific, the only thing of concern with all parties involved is the money from the sale of the animal. The people involved in selling pets do not know the first thing about how to properly care for the pets they sell. If they did, they would not try to sell animals to every person who walks through the door. Every person who wants a pet should not have a pet. I am a veterinary technician, have worked in shelters and with many rescues. I have seen many, many animals surrendered to shelters from pet stores in horrible condition. If you really love animals, go to your local rescue and save a life! They will give you all the information you need to properly care for your pet FOR LIFE. Please visit www.petfinder.com to find your next pet. There are millions of animals of all kinds awaiting death in shelters. Please adopt and save a lifwondering

First of all I dont know what store all of you are going into. Art's is very clean and they care for the animals very well. I have purchased 2 kittens and a puupy from them recently and they are in perfect health and very well cared for. I highly recomend Art's!!! They are VERY Knowledgeable about their pets! Steve and the other girls absolutely love all the pets in that store!!!!!!!U should be informed..
Art's Animals is inhumane. The only reason I would tell someone to buy an animal from there is to save it. Otherwise I wouldn't give them a penny. For years now they almost ALWAYS have kittens that were taken away from their mother too soon (which is illegal for Art's to accept these animals). Cat's that get out of the house that are not fixed alot of times return home and give birth. The owners simply don't feel like taking care of a litter of kittens and their mommy long enough. They take the kittens to arts animals to be sold. Then you buy a cat who hasn't learned or fully developed enough which CAN lead to a nasty cat. Which then leads to taking them to the SPCA or a shelter because the cat is too mean. That may not be true in all cases but its very wrong to take the kittens away too soon. They need their mothers milk. Not to mention it's ILLEGAL. They also take sick animals. I bought a cat that was sick and they did not inform me. They also lie about their age. I have seen this foArts Animals
Just so everyone knows, Arts Animals gets their puppies from private breeders, and they will not kill you with prices as you get a cage, collar, food, etc for free when you buy the puppy and you can get the puppy for a very reduced price. To all the people who had bad experiences, yeah they have their problems, but if you see something wrong with your animal.. bring it back within a reasonable time where i can be proven that you weren't the one who didn't take enough care of it. The puppies sometime's come in with something called Kennel cough which is really just a cold, a small bit of antibiotics (which they give them) and it clears quick. If you had a problem with bad service then you're just unlucky, the people who work there are extremely knowledgable, all you need to do is pick the right person. There's people that work to simply clean, dust, or do the tanks. these people may not be as knowledgable as others so ask for a manager (I.E Dan, Steve, Shannon, Cindy) and they'llPOOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

A customer service nightmare. It has been months trying to get an issue resolved. The manager was unresponsive, lied, and strung us on. As a customer I've never experienced treatment this horrible. Take my advice and do not consider buying anything here.Worldwide > United States > Holmes, PA > Pet Stores
