Animal Eye Care Clinic.
I have used this clinic, which is run by the very accomplished ophthalmologist, Dr. Victoria Pentlarge on several occasions.Each time it was an emergency. The staff always managed to fit us in so that my dog was given priority based on the severity of his/her situation.The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and very accommodating.The clinic is conveniently located on the main street of the Five Points neighborhood of Athens, GA within minutes of the nearby teaching veterinary hospital of the University of Georgia. Dr. Pentlarge does not handle horses. Her practice is small animal and limited to diseases and surgeries of the animal eye. In both instances I had to make repeated visits over the course of treatment. The doctor was efficient and very professional. She is busy, though not too busy to answer your questions or concerns. Proceed with confidence.

Dr. Pentlarge is busy but never too busy to answer questions concerning your beloved pets. She and her staff have always fit me in with emergencies, called and followed up on the pet, and surgically treated them very well. Confidence in this clinic is excellent. Would never hesitate to use them even though it is a 3-1/2 hr drive to see them. You will be extremely pleased to put your animal in the care of this specialist and her wonderful staff.
