Dedicated Staff & Wonderful Animals
This is a wonderful local shelter! I have found the staff and volunteers here to be helpful and dedicated and they are clearly animal lovers. They do absolutely the best they can with all the resources they have available. What they need is more Portlanders to come out and adopt!

just think about what would happen to these animals otherwis
consider the fact that so many shelters kill over 87% of the animals that come into their shelter. yes this shelter is not a no kill, but this should give most people more of an incentive to come and adopt and give an innocent animal a second chance. the animals that pass the week of holding are not killed and wait patiently and often a long time to be adopted. they are not bias and save pitties too. i got my pit mix there and he is the best thing that EVER happened to me. of course all dogs are a crazy insane responsibility but it is so worth it to know you saved a beautiful creatures life. i will get my second dog there in due time.Worldwide > United States > Troutdale, OR > Animal Shelters
