This place is pretty big...
The establishment is pretty big for a typical bowling alley, so it allows for fairly priced games of bowling. The staff is friendly to youth and adults, so that helps. And, the food is fairly decent in case you have to purchase a high-priced snack from the bar area. Worth a try!

Great staff, only downfall is smoke
The staff at AMF is so kind, especially Jose, who has worked at the front counter for years! The alley is huge, and in the early afternoon it is rarely crowded, and has a nice arcade area. The price of bowling and renting shoes is normal to other bowling alley prices. The main downfall to this alley is that they allow smoking, which can get overpowering. You always walk out smelling like smoke.

Nice Bowling Alley - Only Major Problem Is.....
The bowling alley is huge and has something for everybody. The only problem is that the place is totally filled with cigarette smoke. I have been there a total of 3 times and each time the air quality inside has been intolerable & overwhelming. My friends and I decided to not visit this bowling alley anymore because of this. It would be nice to bowl, eat, play the video games and shoot some pool and be able to breath at the same time but oh well... We just go to Arlington or do something else... No other bowling alley in Desoto & gas masks are no fun to bowl in.....

Very nice only problem is smoke....
Yes, i enjoy taking my kids out on a Saturday night, to Desoto, even though were closer to the AMF in Garland. But the Smoke in Desoto is very bad, can't even breath with out you thinking you smoked 100 cigarettes by the time you take your first breath. The Asst Manager there Karolyn is very nice and does what she can to make are stay more better. She's the only Manager I see there doing what she can to make a customer happier..
