DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! WILL NOT PAY FOR DAMAGES!
I hired this company to move us upon my daughters recommendation as she had used several times. I was told by Mike that they were professional piano movers as well. When I inquired about sending someone to evaluate our move, I was told this wasn't necessary. Full details were given for move. On day of move, 2 movers came vs 3 that were necessary for size of move (2 bdrm apt & some storage items) to another 2 bdrm apt. Supervisor finally called 3rd mover on arrival to new apartment several hours later. Improper evaluation of move by supervisor even well into move. Paid by hour which came to $1000 & still had to move pcs & take day off work w/lost wages. This continued for 3 days since only had car. Piano was damaged moving from old apt-(big chunk removed in veneer & lost screw to reading bar in guts of piano) then moved into new apt by 2 movers saying this was their 1st time to move a piano. I paid extra for the piano on top of hourly fee. Supervisor tried to chrg add't $50 despite details given to Mike when scheduled (One of owners. Richard is the other.) Movers complained about Supervisor not helping w/unload, etc. THESE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL PIANO MOVERS!! Told by Supervisor that company bought by Mike & Richard who worked for co. originally. They seem to be working on the reputation of previous owner which as I stated, my daughter highly recommended. I moved end of Feb., now end of July & haven't heard back from letter stating damages despite following Supervisors directions and guidelines by TXDOT. Letter was dated in April. Looks that I'll have to pursue in Small Claims Court. If All Texas Moving & Storage were to pay for damages as outlined in my letter, I'll be more than happy to leave positive feedback as to a happy solution.Worldwide > United States > Austin, TX > Movers & Moving Companies
