Recently I’ve had an awful experience with All Night Child Care. The owner/director Susan Watkins admittedly forgot to pick up my child from school. She was over two hours late!!! When I came to speak about the, unacceptable, incident she told me she COULD NOT insure or guarantee that it would never happen again. “I’m not a psychic!” She said. When I asked if I could see a statement of the rates I was charged for All Night Child Care and transportation, she told me she did not have enough time to accommodate me with a statement or invoice of any kind. I patiently asked her, “If you do not have time to discuss the importance of the matter now, WHEN will you be prepared, with a statement?” We agreed to meet the following day to resolve the matter. Of course, she called my spouse to cancel our appointment one hour prior to our appointment time. When I spoke to her by phone, not only had she told me, once again, that she had a more important obligation that had more priority than me. She also completely refused to reschedule our meeting. She broke her promise to prepare and send me a statement that day. I suggested that an inconvenience discount was in order, for a once loyal client with two children in her care. But, she insisted that, I should find another daycare. Susan argued that I was making this incident to be, “Much Bigger than it Needs to be!” I was stunned by the disrespect of Susan Watkins. The phone conversation ended with her telling me, “I don’t have time for this, I’ve got work to do!” and she hung up the phone. The owner Susan Watkins was rude and very insensitive to a very inexcusable problem. Although I wish her well with the numerous ventures that she boasted occupied her schedule I WOULD NOT recommend an owner/director who refuses to provide rates and statements in writing. Susan Watkins has shown a complete disregard for both customer service and child safety. Please be careful as to who you allow to care for your child!!!
