Horrible Staffing agency
I recently interviewed with this agency. The testing process took too long. The people in the office seemed to not know what they were doing. They had too many people. This made it difficult to get anything done. Also, I was told I did fairly well on the assessments. A month and a half later, I still have no assignments. When I tried to get ahold of someone, I was given the run around. I think that this staffing agency should definitely be avoided if you value your time.

Do NOT use Act 1/Apple One temp agency
since both Act 1 and Apple one are affiliated I recomend you don't use either of them. Also since I didn't know they were affiliated first I went to Apple One. they asked me to do a safety test, so I did when I finished I went to tell them I did and they ignored me, didn't give me another apointment nor did they give me my score. Then i went to Act 1 they were very nice at first, once they got me an assignment something that didn't match my employment history they just blew me off. I dealt with Jill Delaughter she was very nice at first then she just ignore my calls, my e mails, my apt. I asked to be seen by someone else but they said no one else but my rep could. The assignment she gave me close for the two weeks for the holiday's I asked her if she can give me something in the mean time and she just said she didn't have the time to look for something for just two weeks. currently I am applying to another temp agency. Job hunting is tought but they make it even tougher with their attitude. wishing you all a better year!

Act 1 is one of the BEST!
I have worked for Act-1 for over a year straight...they always kept me busy and decent pay. Nancy is one of the best customer service reps I know in the field..ok..I take that back...She is the Best I have ever dealt with! I have had no problems with anyone else there either...all good customer service from my experience. I admit that I didn't like one job too much...but that was the job...not Act-1....I have worked for other agencies but I put Act-1 high on my list....they have non county jobs...but the county jobs accounted for a large portion of jobs available at the downtown sacramento location and the good thing is that they last for about 6 months...the only down side is that due to the economy the county has not been as active as before....but hey...the whole economy is having issues. ....be thankful you have a job or business of some kind at all!Worldwide > United States > Sacramento, CA > Employment Agencies
