Unity Church in Milwaukee

Unity Church in Milwaukee respects the unique journey of each individual.Like most Unity Churches, we teach the following five principles; there is only one Presence and one Power active in the universe and in my life—God the Good, our essence is of God; therefore, we are inherently good. This God essence, called the Christ, was fully expressed in Jesus, we are co-creators with God, creating reality through thoughts held in mind, through prayer and meditation, we align our heart-mind with God. Denials and affirmations are tools we use, and through thoughts, words and actions, we live the Truth we know. We are open for baptisms, weddings, counseling, non-denominational Christians and practical Christianity, memorials and funerals, vow renewals, and Reiki healers. In October 1921 the first group of Truth students gathered to become what is now known as Unity Church in Milwaukee (UCIM). The group received a Certificate of Incorporation (Milwaukee County Courthouse, Articles, Volume 63, page 427) on June 7, 1927, as “First Unity Center of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.” In 1950 the name was changed to Unity Church of Christianity and in 1995 to its current name, Unity Church in Milwaukee.
