Heading to Bend? Gotta Stop at Tumalo!
At least once in your life, you should really stop by Tumalo Feed Co. for a meal you won't forget! Another establishment boasting that people generally don't leave here hungry, your all-inclusive meal includes onion rings with salsa, baked beans, garlic bread, roasted potatoes and some of the best chicken, steak and other turf foods grilled to perfection. This Old West restaurant is a local favorite to take out of town guests. My husband raves far and wide about their pepper steak - so try it if you like a tangy steak. Too much food for me, so I get the chicken. Then you can have a sasparilla float or some ice cream for dessert - all included. Delicious Western experience for the family!

Very bad experience
We had a very bad experience at this place. They had a buffet and we went on Mother's Day. It was not worth the price - food was cold and no service at all. We were extremely disappointed and won't be returning

Not so good
I live close to this restaurant and won't patronize it anymore. Their food was mediocre and served family style consisting of cardboard tasting garlic bread, greasy onion rings, and baked beans that taste right out of the can. The restaurant needs to be hosed out and thoroughly cleaned. A fresh paint job outside wouldn't hurt either.

Could do better
I have eaten here 2 times now and both times my experience has been less than mediocre. The steaks aren't very tender and the side dishes not flavorful. If you are going to pay the money, you can do a lot better.

Overpriced for Quality & Portions
We couldn't believe the prices for the quantity and quality of the food. We never did figure out what we were paying for but it must be some old-time reputation that no longer applies.

Great deal as each entree comes with a family style serving of an onion ring appetizer, potatoes, beans, bread, and dessert. The steaks were better than average, not Mortons, but not Denny's either. The potatoes were great. For dessert go for the root beer float, not the crème de menthe. Service was friendly, but they try to charge you $7.95 for a plate even if you're not having anything. I'd go back to feed, but not to dine.

Fun meal in rustic setting
Take a quick drive to Tumalo for some good steaks and potatoes. Even the kid's steak was good (so said my 13 yr old!). Didn't hit the saloon, but it looked fun as well. Recomnnended to all.

expensive for what it is..
i know this is an old time place, and that part is cool. but I felt that they way over charged for the quality you get. maybe the key is to go for drinks and appetizers?

The Best Steaks on the Planet!!
Dinner was INCREDIBLE! Cute place, nice servers.... and can we talk about the food? I've never had a better steak. The onion rings, the salad, the bread, potatoes, beans and salsa. Yum! It was such a bargain for all the food that you get. It's also VERY kid friendly, with a toy bag and ice cream float for the little ones. We can't wait to go back to celebrate my son's birthday.
