This company is a scam!

SWAT towing towed a car from in front of my house! I called the police to report it stolen and they told me that SWAT had towed it from a fire zone. I asked the police to come out and investigate. They said the company had towed my car illegally and they called the company demanding they brought it back.

When I called the company originally they demanded 165.00 CASH! They also said they had pictures of this car in a fire lane and that my Management had told them to tow it. First of all it was on a street! No red curb, no signs...second, I have no management, I have an off site HOA who allows parking on this street as long as it is not overnight. The car was there 40 minutes.

They also stated the received a call to pick up the car at about 5pm and had arrived at 720PM, the car has never been at my home...ever...until it arrived at 7pm.. They are lying cheats.

Thanks to the great work of the Scottsdale police department I got my car back for free...how ever it did ruin my sons birthday party and wasted approximately 3 hours of my time and cost me in gas to drive to mesa to pick it up....this company is a scam...don't use them!

Predatory rip-off artists

They towed my truck and boat from the parking lot in front of a vacant Basha's at 3:00AM, then demanded $500 cash to release it 8 hrs later. They said it was "2 units", even though the boat trailer was padlocked to the truck so they obviously had to tow it as 1 unit, their excuse for charging for 2 units is that they had to enter both vehicles' VINs in the computer system as if that was such a lot of work. They also had the gall to tell me "we charged that much because that's what the city of Chandler allows," and you have to sign a form stating "I have paid this bill at my own request." Like you have any choice when they're holding your property hostage. There were lots of other people in line getting the same rude rip-off treatment, too. And when I drove off their lot, my power brakes were suddenly gone, which of course they deny any responsibility for. Just coincidence? $441 for a new vacuum brake booster, on top of the $500 tow. Yes, there is a small "No Overnight Parking" sign at only ONE of the 5 entrances to the mostly-vacant strip mall, and that rule had never been enforced until a new property management company took over recently, there was no notice that the rule would now suddenly be enforced after 12 years of not being enforced. I found out later that per their contract with the property manager they are supposed to first tag your vehicle as a warning and then return 24 hrs later before towing it, they did not follow that procedure and towed me 19 hrs after I left it there. Don't believe their website, they are nothing but predatory bottom-feeders.

While visiting my local Planned Parenthood this afternoon at 12:30 pm, located off of Apache and Dorsey in Tempe AZ. I parked my vehicle in the lot just east of the business, not 500 ft away. The lot was connected to a Food City, a laundry mat and a small cafe. I parked my car, with some hesitation, in one of four parking spots with signs that read, "No ASU or Light Rail Parking". As I stated before I was at the Planned Parenthood, and had no intention of attending ASU or riding the light rail. When I returned to the lot at approximately 1:30 pm my car was no where to be found. However, an elderly woman in a wheelchair was there. She asked me, " was that your car they just towed?" I replied that it must have been. She went on to tell me that they had attempted to tow another persons car just minutes before they got mine. A man came out of the laundry mat just in the nick of time, when he asked the tow truck driver why he was about to be towed the driver said that he must have identified the wrong car. He then proceeded to hook up to mine, the elderly woman said to him, "why are you taking this car, did you get a complaint or something?" And the driver said no.
I then found a sign located else where in the lot with with a tow-away-number listing and called that. When I asked the man why I was towed he said that a witness saw me getting on the rail. When I told him I didn't take the rail he said I would have to go to the address in Mesa and if I had trouble finding it to look for the red Hummer in the lot (hmmmm I wonder how they paid for that).
Upon arriving at SWAT towing I immediately was irate and will admit that I didn't behave in the most mature manner. However, I will say that the cavemen (and one cavewoman that asked me to leave the building) did not behave even slightly professionally either. When I first approached the counter and gave my towing details I was not presented with any information for the reason of tow. I showed the caveman my receipt from Planned Parenthood with the time of my visit listed. He then told me that it didn't matter where I was, only that I had left the property (are you supposed to park and stand next to your car?). When asked how he knew if I had left the property he told me that they had actually received a phone complaint to have the car towed. When I explained what the sign said in which I was parked under I was told that it didn't matter.
So I paid for my car and I left. Because it seems that this company has been granted permission to steal vehicles and then ask for money in return for them. I am sickened. These cavepeople do not have a decent bone in their bodies. And to add insult to injury, they are all lousy liars. Also, to "John" that I spoke to on the phone afterward with when I was still trying to resolve matters. What I went through during the appointment I had earlier that afternoon was not your business and shouldn't have been disclosed to you. BUT, what you said to me was very hurtful and maybe someday when a caveman says the same thing to your sister, or your mother, or your daughter, or your wife you will feel very sorry for what you said to me. And you will also feel very grateful and fortunate that although the bones in your body may not be decent, they are all still whole.

Crime Takes place afterdark, Chandler Man is Robbed!!!!

These guys are Criminal's taking advantage of darkness to steal an honest man's money. I parked my RV in an empty Basha's parking lot just like I have done off and on for over 10 years and these creeps tow the rig to Mesa @ 2 in the morning, I had planned to move it @ 7 am that morning.I called to find out where their chop shop / tow yard was and I got some CREEP who 1st told me it would be $500 to get it out and the after some words he said that it would be $600 When I picked it up they charged me $500 bucks. I hope that some day you get to face the music for your criminal ACTS!!!! I will report your actions to the BBB next and I hope it helps put anend to people like you doing business in the state of Arizona, You need to go back to where you came from, which was likely a prison cell !!!!!
