Horse Racing

Suffolk downs is an adult only place were people can enjoy the sport and excitement of live thoroughbred racing. Live races daily from May to November. New England's premier horse racing event The Mass Cap is held there yearly each spring. You can also view live horse racing via simulcasts from other race tracks throughout the country. Betting is fun with the cheerful betting window clerks always smiling. View racing live outside or in one of the many dining room tables complete with full bar and full restaurant all at reasonable pricing. Live action live entertainment

And down the stretch they come!

Suffolk Downs is a horse racing track. Admission is $2 and parking is free. It is located near logan airport in an industrial area. You can take the T (Blue line to Suffolk Downs station then free shuttle bus to track).

You can place a bet for a little as $2 or for much more than that. If you have always wanted to go to a horse race and are in the Boston area I strongly recommend Suffolk Downs.

Their are numerous options for eating at the track - so you can spend a long day there is you like. Or, you can go in and experience a race or two then leave and shop at the Target store right next to the track :)

PROS: location, free parking, inexpensive fun day
CONS: food a bit expensive

nice track

i love it here, so much history. really just an enjoyable place to watch the races and it's all so inviting, and up close and personal.
