LOVE IT

I absolutely love going to the Spaghetti Warehouse. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is lively and envokes a spirit from the past. But not in a boring way. The building it gorgeous with its plywood beams in the ceiling and the large, inviting atmosphere--very much like an Italian family.

highly recommend

My family and I go there frequently and love the food and atmosphere. Also the prices are awesome, one night a week i believe it is wednesdays you can get a meal for about $5 including food, a drink, and salad. I highly recommend the place.

Low-Brow Italian for the Mases without the Theme Park

This place is aweful. The food taste like re-heated TV dinners, the service is slow, the decor is really cheesey, and the location is horrible. Who want's to drive to 11th & Spring Garden to eat garbage? There's a reason why the food is so cheap. It makes the Olive Garden look like Le Bec Fin.

Don't Order The Spaghetti, Or Anything For That Matter

Let me start by saying that I feel I am a truly fair reviewer. I actually have fun with the process whether a restaurant is stellar or mediocre. That being said...the food at the Spaghetti Warehouse is stunningly awful. I feel like I actually have to say that again, the food at the Spaghetti Warehouse is stunningly awful. Think about the word stunningly for a second........I'm just amazed. I (just like all of us) have eaten at many places whether a restaurant, at a friends place or even at home trying out one of our own experimental dishes, and it truly is a rarity when something that you put in your mouth tastes so bad that you literally have to get rid of it. I mean, usually food that isn't that great, can be physically chewed and swallowed. This was my experience with the Spaghetti Warehouse, I had to figure out a way to get my chewed food into a napkin without drawing any attention from the other people that I was eating with. You can get a hint of this fate as soon as you walk in the door and get a scent of a putrid tomato sauce that smells like they literally opened up a can and cooked it for hours right in the can. Just think of the worst jarred sauce that you ever had - It's worse than that. The Italian wedding soup I took one bite of, not horrible but I had no interest in taking a second bite. I passed it off to someone else who couldn't finish it. The mozzarella sticks would have been standard if you didn't have to dip it in that wonderful tomato sauce. The deep fried ravioli also would have been good if you didn't get the same exact hideous sauce that held the mozzarella sticks hostage. The house salad was fine after you picked out a few of the browned parts. The eggplant parm was severely undercooked, someone actually decided to stop cooking it way before it was cooked through. How do you actually do that? Oh, it was also covered in that sauce -same texture, same taste. DO NOT eat the sausage. To be fair, the service was good. Well, It's your money.

Lousy food, mediocre service, but fun atmosphere filled with antiques

My first impressions were positive: the place looks like a huge train terminal, but in fact was built to be a farmer's market over a hundred years ago. The place is full of interesting antiques and there is actually a real old trolley car you can dine in!

This place is not a bad place to bring kids. They are not choosey when it comes to pasta.

The food ranges from mediocre (the sour-dough loaf of bread and the over cooked spaghetti) to the really awful (the veal cutlet parmesan -priced at nearly $20 - was very tough, an inferior cut of veal, overcooked, breaded with canned breadcrumbs, and just tasted cheap and inferior - like something you'd get in a greasy little Diner in New Jersey ). The "red gravy" - I cannot call it a proper Italian tomato sauce - left a lot to be desired.

I was served by a young pretty lass named Tanequa, or Taquesha, or La Teesha or something - she seemed at to be a high school student and she tried very hard to get my food quickly and be friendly. My bread did not arrive until after the main course, however, my water glass was never refilled, and I had to wait until I was given my check to get a refill on my coke! Friendly, but very inexperienced and unprofessional service.

Will I ever go here again? Probably, not ; unless I'm broke and I take advantage of the Wednesday $5.99 spaghetti special.

stop being a loser

spaghetti Warehouse has the best food and great service with beautiful ladies serving you drinks all night long. The food is great they give more than what you can eat. I get mad when people complain about the prices. If you can't afford to spend $20 on your wife to eat dinner you are a loser who should stick to fastfood for your dates. By the way I won 100,000 on millionaire. and they have the best chicken parm.

great for college bums

When I was in college, I would come here a lot. I order the Turin Trio. Fill up on sourdough bread and unlimited soup. And then ask for more bread before I leave. When they bring out my Trio, i would only take a piece of each because I'm full. The trio would last 2-4 days :D

I did venture out to order items in the menu once or twice and realize it's a big mistake.

There stuff mushrooms are okay, my g/f doesn't like them that much.
The spinach artichoke dip and brushetta are safe.
I normally go for the calamari or mozarella fritta.
the toasted ravioli is fine... I don't see anthing great about them. I normally dont order it but will eat it if someone order it.

I think I had their chili once.. it was bad but it's not something I will remember. I like to switch between the wedding soup and the minestrone soup depending on my mood.

I never really tried their spaghetti... The lasagna is good. I like to mix the chicken parm with the alferdo.

DONT TRY the CHICKEN ALFREDO. I figure, I like the fettuccini alfredo, so the chicken alfredo can't be that bad. the 'grilled' chicken tasted weird... there's a fake grill taste to it. Maybe they use liquid smoke and dont know how to use it. I warn someone about this, they still order it and they didn't like it.

there was a special one night... I forgot what it was... but it was way tooo salty.

ever since they, I like to stick to my Trio.

Ussually the waiter/waitress are fine.

visit

We have been visiting here for several years and it seems as though the food is getting worse. Our last recent visit, the Sangria was horrible and had to get another pitcher made, this one was not much better. Two people ordered the same meal and it was missing some of the ingredients such as the tomotates and artichokes. Both had to send it back they put tomatoes on it but no artichokes. Everytime we go there any more there are problems with the food. The sauces on the dishes were extremely skimpy with only enough to coat the pasta. When I complained to the waiter who was carrying a rag with him to wipe the sweat off his forehead he did nothing. There have been times when we have gone there at around 8:00 p.m. and figured the skimpy amounts were due to it getting later, but this past time it was at 6:00 p.m. and no different. And I really hate when the waiter adds the tip in the bill because he only came back one time to check on the party. I do not think my family will be going back there any time soon
