Mel's Country Cafe
The food at Mel's is the best comfort food around! We have ordered lots of items from fried mushrooms and chicken fried steak to the delicious Mel's burger. The prices are reasonable - Our family of four ate for 45.00 - a great value. On top of this, the service is fantastic! I definitely recommend Mel's

Mega delicious Mel burger

Inexpensive country cafe
I have eaten at Mels many times. The food is country and inexpensive. Friendly waitstaff and child friendly. Would recommend it to anyone looking for very casual dining.

A disappointing venture.
After reading the great reviews on this place, my family and I decided to dine. While the waitstaff was exceptionally friendly and the portions were huge, the food quality suffered. If you have a big, hungry family and little cash, this is your place. Otherwise beware.

Best Catfish EVER
You must try the fried catfish at Mel's. It is the best I have ever had. Even my father-in-law thinks it's the best - and believe me, he knows catfish! Great kids menu. Fabulous mountain of onion rings. Beer is cold and cheap. You'll love it.

Great Chicken Fried Steak...
This place is a country home town style of place. HOMEMADE FOOD. Yes, thats right. Homemade veg/meats/deserts...Daily/nightly specials. If you want a down home cooked meal, Mels cafe is your spot. No need to dress up or down. Come as you are. Best burgers, chicken fried steak and a California Chicken dish is to die for. They call it something else, but it is goooood.
