first of all, there is nothing that says "fine dining" about this experience. Prices were good although we received alot of food we did not order, although generous, unnecessary. server was very nice and attentive although unappreciated...

Johnnie's Italian Restaurant has a great atmosphere
Great Italian restaurant, great for going out with a group of people, the staff does not rush you through dinner. BYOB sit back, relax and enjoy some good food and company

first of all, there is nothing that says fine dining about this experience. Prices were good although we received alot of food we did not order, although generous, unnecessary. server was very nice and attentive although unappreciated as what i presume was the owner criticized ours in front of us when nothing was done wrong. John walks through the restaurant and is very rude and unattentive to customers he does not know. good home Italian cooking but nothing special. Beautiful restaurant with alot of potential. we enjoyed Dalys as recommended by our waiter.

is advertised as fine dining, its more casual than fine, its a small restaurant not alot of space between you and other patrons, there are bigger rooms but for parties or over flow and seem to forget you if you are overflow..servers were rude and non attentive, food was relativly cheap and or free....salads were soggy and leaves black...its byob or can go next door to the bar which is awkward because even when your waitress makes the trip you have to pay first instead of on your bill. its ok if you want to have a casual meal, not a fine dinning experience or service...be prepared to wait a long time for your meal if it is busy,,it seems like food isnt cooked according to who orders first but who spends more money.. also they advertise home made italian ice cream..mine tasted suspiciously like jack and jill complete with the freezer burnWorldwide > United States > Philadelphia, PA > Italian Restaurants
