Quality service and quality fabrics
Ok - it's just Joann Fabrics - their selection is huge but not often the really chic things one is looking for. At any rate, the products they DO carry are always quality and you have plenty of choices. Added at this store is great customer service. I often get to the cutting table with a shopping cart entirely full of bolts and never have I gotten an annoyed sigh or huff from any of these folks. In fact, they usually are excited to hear what I'm going to do. Great place.

Quite a selection, quality is so-so
Jo Ann has become more and more focused on the & Crafts part of their moniker -- lots of seasonal tchotchkes and scrapbooking materials and such, less (or at least less emphasis on) fabric.
