A great furniture store

Home Comfort Furniture & Matress Company is a great furniture store. After a rather dismal attempt to buy furniture at another store, we went to Home Comfort.

Home Comfort sells a wide variety of home and office furnishings. They also have a great mattress selection. There are items for most styles and budgets.

We were greeted as soon as we entered the store. A salesperson asked what we were looking for and actually showed us furniture! We were shown things in our price range, and there was a very good variety to choose from. The overall prices were very good.

When it came time to pay for our pieces and order the ones not in stock, the staff was very helpful and informative. We were given specifics as to when the pieces would be ordered and their arrival date.

The delivery people were courteous and very professional. There were very careful with our new furniture, and were on time with the delivery.

Warm and Inviting

Gorgeous, well-built furniture at very reasonable prices. Extremely helpful staff, without smothering. No delivery charge within the triangle, and you get it pretty fast. Don't buy until you give them a look- glad I didn't! They really help you find what is perfect for you, not just the most expensive pieces.

Great Furniture and Service

Great Furniture, and Selection. Some of the best prices around. And what really sold me on my new custom sofa and love seat was the customer service which was so helpful but hassel free and honest. Charles Pope, the sales consultant that helped us, was awesome!

Very Good Prices, Service and Quality

I bought a kitchen table and chair set from here. The same set I purchased in a pub style table was advertised double the price at Macy's. We also went to Highpoint and checked all the furniture stores there and came back to purchase from Home Comfort. Home Comfort's quality is great and their prices can't be beat. I am now looking for a dining room table and bedroom set there are only 2 furniture stores I am going to look at Home Comfort and one other one. Can't beat the quality and prices its not worth shopping around. I will never go to highpoint again it was a waste of gas and time. The prices were all marked up and then reduced to 40-70% which brought them back down to normal price.
Home comfort is the way to go. If you don't find what you want at one home comfort shop around they tend to carry different selections in different stores.

Bad Experience: they don't stand behind what they sell

Our purchasing experience was fine: matching sofa & oversize chair, Lane Euro recliner. Within 6 months the Euro recliner began to wobble. When we called to check on it, we were told that it was" normal".
Our fault for not pursuing it more aggressively; a few months later, we stopped in to discuss it, and were told that Lane had redesigned the chair to eliminate that problem. Yet, we were told that the chair was out of warranty and they could send technicians out at our expense--could not (would not?) tell us what the technicians would charge. In addition, when I asked for satisfaction at a higher level, the manager, Paula Krois, was downright condescending in her manner on the telephone. I am
disappointed in her lack of concern, especially in her lack of interest in softening the blow. Pretty much, tough luck, Jack, you bought it, you're the sucker. I will pursue redress through Lane, and will advise everyone I know to avoid purchasing home furnishings at Home Comfort.
