Here's a picture. New to town in nov 03, meeting new aquaintances, making new friends, and every cafe and restaurant was a new experience to me. I have been treated very nicely there by the entire staff, the food has always been an culinary adventure, it is a comfortable place to finish my last hour of work without interruption or mingle with the crowd if I choose as it is a very freindly room. Perfect ambiance!Rude, Rude, & Inconsistent
If only you could buy the waitstaff at Havana for what they're worth and then sell them for what they think they're worth!Great Change!
As of 4/3/05 new management was put in place! I tried it out again and the energy and food was great! I hope the customer above will try again.Well worth the visit - will definitely return!
I have driven past this restaurant for the past year and alway say that I must go there some day. I was ready - had another couple to join my hubby and me - but was worried about the reviews on this site about the staff.Wonderful Food - And the staff is AMAZING!!!!!!
It is so refreshing to get away from the same old same! There nightly specials are always a pleasant surprise for the taste buds! There staff is always so friendly and really care about your experience. Havana on Granby Street is "Party Central" and the Great Neck Rd location is tried and true for the best EVERYDAY escape from the ordinary! I was happy to hear they will be offering a Petit Menu so you can have a little bit of everything. This is a MUST SEE!!!!!!!!Not a cuban feel
Honestly, quite disappointing. Ambience was good. Service was exceptional. Food was not what I expected. The mojito was not close to a cuban mojito. The appetizer spring roll was exceptional. sufficient enough for 2 to eat. Quite frankly the name should be an American cafe with the name Havana. "Maduros" were not ripe enough to consider putting in that rich caramel sauce. The "palomillo", rice and black beans could not even been considered latino. Don't get me wrong food was good just did not honor the latino cuisine flavor. The coffee "espresso" could not even come close to a cuban cafe. Sorry I liked the place and the service but I just think food did no justice to latino cuisine, not even close to Cuban cuisine.Worldwide > United States > Virginia Beach, VA > Night Clubs
