Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. I live in Bridport and called ahead of time to see if I needed to come in or make an appointment to have a consultation with them. The employee on the phone said I could order everything on the phone without going up there. I just needed to leave my credit card number to insure I would come and pick it up. I wanted to fancy birthday cake for my twins 1st Birthday. After talking to this employee he seemed to understand what I was saying. After I got off the phone I realized he never asked what flavor cake I wanted (kind of important) or the names on the cake (even MORE important) so I called back several more times. He gave me a quote of $150. He said that was "average cost" for their cakes. I told him I wanted fancy and was ok with that. I was looking for something that they had on their web site. Cute and elobrate. I also called back to see if that included smash cakes. Guess what it didn't. That was another $10 each! well ok.. what is $@0? so I added those too. I get up there after driving almost 2 hrs the day of the birthday party and there was round cake in the case that has dog prints and flowers and says Happy Birthday" on it. That was it. It was white and brown. I told the girl at the register that was not my cake and she said it was. we went back and forth for 10 mins. I was starting to cry. No fancy cake nothing. They wanted to charge me $150 for a plain white cake with Happy Birthday on it!! I explained to them the phone conversations etc. No one seemed to care. I left with no birthday cake. They did give me the 2 smash cakes... but made me pay for them!! After a 4 hr drive back and forth!! Horrible customer service. No apologies nothing. I would NEVER go back there again!! No phone call from the owner or manager to apologize.. Thanks to them we had a $20 cake from Price Chopper for my babies' first birthday! Oh and I gave the one star because it would not let me leave no stars!!
