You can pick any big name place in this neighborhood and whoos got it BEAT! the Crosby Pizza Stop! These guys have some awesome pepporini rolls and the best plain slice around for miles. Very well kept place which is also well kept in terms of employee service. Its the homestyle cooking away from home......however many blocks away that may be!

What can I say, finally a pizzeria that sells just that.... pizza. There is the traditional plain pizza, to exotic slices, to their unique round sicilian (crust on all sides... what a concept!) I'm in there at least once a week and can never get enough of it.

The reason my husband loves going back home!
When we went to NY my husband insisted that I try their pizza. Very good. My first real NY pizza, and I loved it. We even went back and got one to take home with us.

Most yummy pizza!
I now only order pizza from here! It's sooo good and fresh!! They also have very fast delivery! Definitely worth to drive to it if you live a bit away to experience what New York pizza should really taste like!

Sublime Nook in Little Known Pelham Bay
Crosby Pizza stop is not the place to go for atmosphere but the pizza is world class. If you just want to experience one of the best pizza-gasms of your life, check this one out on your way to Orchard Beach or just if you don't mind a fairly long ride on the 6 train to the Boogey Down Bronx.
