What a great DJ!

I just got married on 09/06/08 and I used Central Florida Entertainment as my dj for my wedding reception. First of all let me just say that the owner of the company, Bob Jaeger, is the one that dj'd my wedding and he did a WONDERFUL job! He was very professional and is extremely knowledgeable. He is excellent at what he does. I was a little worried about how he would relate with my guests but all my fears were erased as soon as I heard him making the introductions for my Bridal Party. He related so well with all my guests... young and old. He played every song I asked him to play during the exact time I asked him to do so. I would recommend Central Florida Entertainment to anyone getting married in the Orlando area. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! =)

Would not hire if I had to do it over again

I hired Bob Jaeger to DJ my wedding on 4/10/10. My fiance and I chose him because he seemed organized and had a lot of experience DJing at our venue.

From our second meeting (a few weeks before the wedding) up until the end of the wedding I constantly felt like I was in a power struggle with him. I gave him a list of "must play" songs which he said that he would be fine with playing but was going to "throw in" some choices of his own. I asked if he could tell me or email me the choices he was thinking of playing (which he never did).

He only played about half of my "must plays" and definitely took liberties with the music (some of which I was cringing at--just not music I wanted at my reception).

He was also pushy and impatient with me when I told him his line-up for the wedding party announcements was wrong (which it was). He also told some of my guests that he wouldn't play their requests because they weren't the ones "paying him"--pretty tacky.

If you're not that picky and don't mind your DJ choosing your music, he may be fine. But if you're particular about your dancing and want a DJ to do what YOU want, keep looking.
