The biggest problem here is they have a roach infestation that reaches every apartment because all apartments are connected. The roaches are so bad that they don't even run from you anymore. Don't leave your food or drinks down for even a minute 5 will crawl in that quickly. Don't put anything in cupboards. 3 years after living here I got bed bugs and the problem is only getting worse. I wake up every single day with atlest 5 new bites that itch so much you break your skin scratching. I'm a clean freak, so for me to be having such pest problems is not my fault. There is also mold in the restroom and the showerhead sprays water out of the shower and onto the restroom door because it has a hole on the side. I went through the proper procedures to get things fixed (putting it in writting) and nothing ever gets fixed so I ended up putting tape on showerhead hole. Asked maintenance to change my window screens because they had holes and they changed them but put old ones that had holes as well, what was the point? Ceiling air conditioner leaks dirty water when on. By the time you leave the roaches have built nests in your electronics and occasionally see baby roaches crawling out of my brand new $800 laptop. When I leave in a few months I will have to get rid of everything I own because it's either infested with roeaches or bed bugs that I definately don't want in my next apartment. Veronica the manager sleeps with some of her tenants and gives them free rent until she's done with their services. Very unproffesional and disrespectful. Pierre the owner pretends like he cares about your concerns but only wants your money. Apartment was never fully cleaned before I moved in and the painting was only done halfway. You can see the two different colors from where they didn't paint. Carpet had major stains prior to my move in, it should've been replaced. The walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors farting and burping and hear every word clear enough to follow conversations. Most tenants here are on some kind of drug including Veronica and Jeff (maintenance man) who have been seen by many people smoking pot and crack with other tenants. Don't fall for the all-utilities paid and free cable, it's true but not worth it at all for all the problems you will encounter. Reason why most tenants here don't say or do anything about it is because they can't afford to move out, myself included. Now that I can afford to move out I'm considering bringing in the city's health department so they can see the conditions we are forced to live in. Hopefully they can bulldose the whole place down because that is the only way to get rid of the pests. The owner will then be forced to find places for the tenants under law.
